Mr. Gold’s shop was full of ancient artifacts that are plain as an ugly old hat or as exquisite as a sapphire necklace. Some of these artifacts are regular things people can use as decorations, and most were enchanted with magic. But the only thing Henry had his eyes on was a white steel wand hanging above a wall behind the counter. It was ten and half inches long and winked like stars in the sky whenever the light hits it.
