The dragon shifted in place before lowering his head again, directing Estinien's attention to Varshahn still standing quietly between them. With a single fluid motion the Au ra slid the silk robe off his shoulders, leaving dark silk to pool around his feet as his hand drifted along the curves of his body. Trailing from the narrow set of his hips, over the slim waist inherent to all Au ra men– his hands seemingly unsure of where to rest– which part of this Auri form to accentuate to pique Estinien's interest. "For all you have done to help Radz-at-Han," Varshahn continued, voice lilting with his soft accent, and quivering slightly from nerves, "and myself."

There was silence again for a long, awkward moment. For once Astarion was glad to be dead, at least there would be no visible sign of humiliation on his face. All his life he'd been told he was good for one thing only, but the past few tendays had made it abundantly clear that maybe he wasn't good for even that much. He should be relieved that Wyll didn't want to fuck him, but instead he felt only a vertiginous uncertainty.

Personal retelling/reimagining of the non-Ascended Astarion x Tav experience, as close to canon as I can stay while also having my fun. Story will eventually include epilogue. Y'shtola has no intention of ever allowing a male to lay claim to her or have dominance over her. Sadly, that means she can never have a relationship with a male of her own species. Unless by some miracle she finds the one male who would allow a female to dominate him, because that prospect is far more enticing. When she says as much to G'raha, expecting him to sputter adorably, his reaction is not quite what she expected.
G'raha has spent a century alone and lonely. To truly belong to someone would be a dream come true, as far as he's concerned. Enough to be worth fighting his instincts, especially if the person he could belong to is Y'shtola. But the last thing he wants is to be claimed and then abandoned, and he fears she's not interested in more than a single experience to satisfy her curiosity on the matter.
If they could only find a way to somehow meet in the middle, they might be able to build something unique and special to fulfill both their needs.
