Tommy was decidedly not freaking out.
No really.
It was sort of becoming routine to come home and find a famous super lounging on his couch and eating a tub of ice cream or rifling through the medicine cabinet in the bathroom for supplies. A few days ago it was the head of the most infamous villain group, the Syndicate, cooking stir-fry in his kitchen, and today it was apparently the number 2 and 3 heroes bickering in front of the TV as they played Mario Kart.
This…this had to be normal. Everyone occasionally came home to have a villain, vigilante, or hero just chilling in their home, right?
… Right?

Summary
Tommy, the epitome of bad luck in the city of L’manberg, is done.
You’d think that getting an eyelash in your eye or having a hangnail every now and then wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but when it happens consistently for sixteen years? Yeah. Kind of annoying.
And now superheroes and supervillains keep, quite literally, crashing into his life and he’s getting tired.
But, who would’ve guessed that his bad luck might end up being the best thing to ever happen to him?

Or, Tommy just wants to go to work, go home to his dingy apartment, and watch random documentaries and TV shows. But, life has a different plan for him… in the form of raining heroes and villains.

Summary
It is one thing to have a crush on the handsome, single father whose three children you babysit to earn money for university. It's another thing to accidentally stumble into becoming his sugar baby and being paid to satisfy his more... intimate desires. And it's yet another thing to actually catch feelings in what is supposed to be a purely transactional relationship.

“Be my apprentice,” Icarus blurted.
Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”
“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”
“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.
“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.
Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

Tommy isn’t sure why handing someone their keys is such a big deal, but now he’s left with a huge problem: Every supervillain in the city wants him to be their apprentice!

Unfair. That's what the world is. In the ideal world, good and bad would be perfectly balanced, but this was Tommy's world, so it was shit.
