Summary

I’m too lazy and my thoughts run too fast so whenever I’m confronted with my desire for anyone and everyone to hear what I have to say I’m held back by my inability to express myself. This is has been a more prominent problem ever since I found out my bookmarks are public (not like anyone is ever going to see them but the fear’s still there).
Anyways somehow despite me reading VERY fucked up shit before this relationship dynamic seems so very unhealthy to me. And I can’t be sure what my opinion is on it because if the genders were reversed and she was so obsessed with the idea of “fixing him” I would be raging, but also it’s just a lot of comfort and weird human shit? Idk what to think anymore and I hate it when I’m confused so let me comment on the atmosphere of a remote Alaskan island I really grew to love. This is beginning to sound like a book review so I must stop now.

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. BEST FIC I EVER READ AND IM NOT KIDDING AT ALL. LIKE THIS IS DISGUSTINGLY GOOD. THE WRITING, THE PLOT, THE CHARACTERS OH MY GOD THE CHARACTERS IM LITERALLY ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR GIGGLING
What absolutely sold this to me are the flashback chapters. And I love that there isn’t just one, or maybe 2, NO, ITS EVERY SECOND CHAPTER AND OH LORD THEYRE SO GOOD!!!!!! This genuinely made me cry. And not just once, but a few times AT THE VERY LEAST like I’ve been depressed for the past couple hours. a piece of literature (yes this is a piece of literature) hasn’t done this to me in a long time. What I wouldn’t give up to experience a teen romance, especially the type portrayed here (take away the parental abuse and violence please though). I genuinely believe in his feelings for her, and vice versa. This is the most well done slow burn I’ve ever read, and on top of that, the most heartfelt smut scene I have ever read (ch 18). I’m literally biting my nails waiting for the next chapter to come out TODAY like omg absolutely can’t wait.
The fmc is kind of a manic pixie dream girl in a sense but that honestly doesn’t matter to me. Like this is a fic and it’s done in a way that it’s barely noticeable. Seriously I’m sending thanks to whoever wrote this I’m literally on my knees in front of you.
The scene where Simon gets the burn was so heartfelt and actually emotional I almost couldn’t believe it when I read it for the first time. Like it legitimately made me what to put down my phone when his dad crushed the flowers. It’s also all written in such a way that brings everything to life in a way I never would’ve expected a fic writer to be able to.
If Indigo has 100 fans, I’m one of them, If Indigo has 1 fan left, it is me, if Indigo has no fans I’m dead or however it goes. I’m also inexplicably attracted to Ghost in the current Kosovo timeline (not inexplicably obviously I am reading fanfiction about this dude but I mean a way that’s kinda new to me idk how to describe it). Ok that’s it, I used up like half of the characters, I feel like I said everything I wanted to say. CANT WAIT FOR CH 29 OMG
UPDATEEEEE OH LORD ITS SO GOOD I HAVE NO WORDS WHEN HE THROWS UP WHEN SHE GETS INJURED ON A MISSION AND THEN TELLS PRICE ALL ABOUT THEIR PAST (I’m not sure which chapter it was, I’m guessing 24??) LORDDDD ITS SUCH A WELL DONE, EMOTIONAL SCENE I WAS ON THE VERGE OF TEARS!!!
