Summary
Henry playfully wrestles him to the ground, and their laughter shakes the trees. This is what life ought to be: easy and sweet and without any past or future. The rest of the world can hang for all Hans cares; all he wants is to make Henry laugh, and to turn him every shade of red possible.
“Shut up or I'll fill you up,” Henry threatens. “I’ll get a strong son on you.”
Something flutters in Hans’s chest. “I'm not a fucking maid, Henry.” He struggles a little more, just for show, and Henry pins his hands above his head.
“Could be,” Henry counters, grinning. “My maid, my girl, the way you take me.”
-
In which Henry helps Hans forget about his upcoming nuptials, a wedding night is shared, and Hans yearns to become something other than what he is.

Summary
“Still awake?” II’s voice was low, rough with exhaustion.
“Mhm.” Vessel didn’t move. His voice was quiet, almost sheepish. “Body’s tired. Brain’s not.”
II hummed in acknowledgement. He pressed his chin briefly to Vessel’s hair, the weight of the gesture more grounding than anything else. “You know what helped last time?”

Summary
Nazareth was a place that had no real attention paid to it and only became famous for one reason. It was the hometown of Jesus. Outside of that Nazareth was a small, non-descript, impoverished village that has no mention in the Old Testament.

Summary
‘What does it really mean to worship Satan?’ he asked with a hint of despair in his voice.
Frater thought, really thought about it for a long moment. For him it was as natural as breathing, almost instinctive. But he was a child of the Clergy, raised within the Church. He didn’t really know anything else. There was Lucifer, the Brightest Star, one that shows the way, that provides you with what you need: solace, comfort, love, connection to world and its many beings, wisdom to appreciate it. The worship of Satan was coded into his very soul, an integral part of him.

Summary
Eighteen years after the Phoenix Gate incident, Rosaria is notorious for three things: the wars she's won, the Twin Flames who lead her, and her hatred for those who betrayed her.
And maybe something else, if Dion can ever figure out what that is.
“There are rumors,” Terence says after a moment, which is odd. He’s not one to traffic in such things.
Dion faces him fully, bemused and amused in equal measure. “What rumors?” He shifts closer, past propriety, and murmurs, “Don’t hold out on me.”
Terence reddens. “No—they aren’t fit for polite company.”
That only makes him more curious. He watches as the elder Rosfield steps closer to the younger to murmur something in his ear. The archduke is perhaps taller by an inch, but they seem of a height. Twin Flames—an inadequate descriptor, as nothing else about them is alike. They are as similar as sun and moon. “Not fit for polite company,” he muses. That is interesting.
