You sing in the shower. Everyday. Your mysterious neighbor might have found it annoying if the sound of your voice hadn't become a safe haven.
The world around you was changing everyday. Monsters had arrived on the surface almost a year and a half ago, but you still had yet to actually meet one. They didn't make a habit out of approaching humans, and whenever you had gotten anywhere near one, someone always pulled you away, thinking that because of your handicap, thinking monsters would go to attack you: an easy target.
You weren't a little girl anymore, and were pretty self reliant, even with your disability. No help needed. At east that's what you told yourself.
When you met your first monster, things didn't quite go as you'd envisioned them, no pun intended.

Summary
In a world where Jason Todd survives Ethiopia, Tim Drake still finds a way to help Batman by surveilling Gotham rogues and anonymously informing to the Bats and Oracle. It's a delicate balance, to help the world's greatest detective without drawing too much of his attention, but Tim can't risk Batman discovering his parents' very illegal collection of ancient artifacts.
At least, until his parents begin behaving strangely and Tim's investigation finds him at the center of a plot that threatens the entire city. The only way to save Gotham is for Tim to reach Batman, but doing so means losing everything he knows.

Summary
Jason Todd returns to Gotham with a detailed plan for Batman, the Joker, and the new Robin he’s seen pictures of in the papers. There’s just one tiny problem with his plan: Batman is missing. Also the Joker is missing. And nobody has seen Robin in a while.
In unrelated news, there are two(?) teen vigilantes patrolling the streets of Gotham. Someone should probably do something about that.

“Alright,” Steph said, after she’d tried and failed to suffocate Tim with his own pillow for taking her phone. “So what’s the next step of the plan, then? Does Superman have his own hotline? Do we just go to Metropolis and yell about it a lot?”
That might work, actually, but it would create a lot of opportunities for Luthor to know what Tim had done. Which would create a lot of opportunities for Tim’s dad to know what Tim had done, and for Tim to get disappeared by goons and drowned in the harbor, or sent to a reform school without any computer science classes, or something.
“Metropolis yes,” Tim said, “yelling no.”
