After months of careful planning and investigating, Hank and Nines close in on one of the drug dens but miss them by what could only be minutes. The two think there’s nothing of importance left behind but stumble upon a broken and beaten but still alive android who just so happens to be their missing RK800.

Hank was going to pop a blood vessel, he was fucking sure of it. The past week had been filled with that androids creepily human tone asking “may I ask you a personal question?”, and this last one pushed Hank over the fucking edge.
“For fucks-“ Hank sighs under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Fine, but only if I can ask one in return.” And Hank could’ve sworn Connor perked up slightly at his sudden interest in the android. It gave him the creeps, and for not the first time in the last hour Hank wished for a beer. He cursed his fucking detective senses for already profiling the android and noticing the slight changes in his body language.
OR
Hank's curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to try and push Connor to Deviancy. But he doesn't realise how unprepared Connor and he are for Connor's humanity, and it may lead to a closer bond than either expected.

Summary
It's crunch time at Cortex Castle. Deadlines are rapidly closing in and tempers are growing shorter and shorter. Particularly for Nefarious Tropy, who's patience seems to be thinning by the second. Angry, frustrated, aggravated; all qualities Nitrus Brio is finding just a liiiittle bit too distracting. Thankfully, they manage to come up with a solution that will both get their work done in time and satiate their needs.
Just... Maybe not in the ideal circumstances.
Nefarious leaned closer. His mouth was directly against Nitrus' ear, and his voice dipped to a low, silken growl. "You really need this, don't you? I shouldn't let you, you know. This is terribly rude behaviour, making demands and interrupting me when I have real work to do."
Nitrus made the most broken and submissive sound. Nefarious snickered. He could see how flushed his lover was becoming already, and all he had done was vaguely tease him.
Nefarious grinned, showing all his teeth.
"Well, get to work."
