“Why does it have to be him of all people?” he whines, unhappy.
It’s common knowledge that Wen Kexing and Zhou Xu didn’t get along. The relationship between them was strained at best and no one’s entirely sure what caused it. They met by chance one day and somehow became friends. They used to talk a lot and spend time together, but after a while, it ceased as they changed their attitude towards one another completely.

Chengling doesn’t have much to complain about these days. In fact, the only issue troubling him is the increasingly evident realization that his adoptive father’s house husband is an actual mobster.
