Ace shot up with a gasp, he was free? His didn’t feel that tired.
“Strawboy!” Ivankov yelled, helping him up. “I told you the hormone treatment could have side effects!”
Ace looked at the large person in confusion. “My… My name is Ace.” He murmured, “I’m not… Strawboy?”
Ivankov gasped, looking at the person behind him. “What did you do?”
The random man shrugged weakly, “I-I don’t know… I was hungry and I ate that fruit and then I bumped into Luffy!” He motioned worriedly to the fruit rolling on the floor, purple swirling leaves with red dots coating the surface of the black lumpy fruit. -

When they got closer to the execution stand and he could see all the marines waiting, he let his haki roll and boil over. He didn’t want to hear any voice’s stop, no matter what side they were on.
He knew Koby would be here and he decided he didn’t want to go through that, so he focused on his friend’s haki signature and knocked him out especially. His conquerors dropped majority of the forces, and he decided in that moment to grab ahold of Ace and rocket the two of them off the boat.
Ace screamed as they landed on a few unconscious marines.
