Summary
Jag visste ju att han skulle komma. Var bara inte riktigt klar över att det skulle kännas så mycket att se honom. Han ser äldre ut än jag minns honom, men det är ju inte så konstigt. Han har ju bara några år kvar tills han också firar de fyrtio. Håret är mörkare än jag kommer ihåg det. Något ljusare vid tinningarna, eller kanske är det ljuset?

Han ska precis slå ihop laptopen när det plingar till, en inbjudan till ett event. Plötsligt slungas han 15 år tillbaka i tiden till då, då när allt var på topp. När allt låg framför en och man trodde man visste vart man var på väg.
Han klickar på inbjudan och läser högt för sig själv.

The conversations were always stilted and quiet and benignly untrue.
“I’m okay”
“No worries”
“My day was alright, you?”

The phone calls eventually petered out.So, Even did what he thought was right for Isak.
On an ordinary Thursday, eating dinner next to each other on the couch, Even looked up from his bowl of noodles, glanced at the clock ticking 9.21 pm and said, “I think we should break up.”

Summary
Isak opens up the email from his editor, skims through it for the tenth time, snagging to a stop on phrases like serial piece and North American tour coverage, boots on the ground and big opportunity. His response is quick and vague, that he'll let her know tomorrow morning, although he's known the answer from the jump.
(Or, Isak is a Norwegian ex-pat, fresh out of NYU with a journalism internship, who bags an assignment covering a band from his former hometown of Oslo on their first North American tour. It takes him about three seconds to realize he kinda has a thing for the bass player).

Summary
Isak is 20 years old and struggles hard to balance his medstudies with his job as a waiter. Between the two of them he hardly has time to stop to reflect and take a breath but maybe that's for the best because in those moments Isak feels like the loneliest person in the world. Noone has ever chosen him and while all his friends seem to have already found their place in the universe Isak feels like maybe this is all this universe has to offer him.
Even is 32 has a good job and an amazing daughter. He and Ellie are a team and best friends and she is undoubtly the most important thing in his life. He has great support from his parent's and friends. He has everything he could ever dream of. Yet, it feels like there might be something missing and sometimes the guilt of not being enough treathens to eat him alive.
They meet at a time when they are both feeling lonely and are in desperate need for eachother. But that doesn't mean that it will be easy.
“I’ll definitely come back and try that lemon sorbet someday,” the man says.
“You should,” Isak says, smiling

Summary
Dette er en samling "mellomscener" i sesong 3, eller "scener vi ikke fikk se" eller "sånn tror jeg det var". Den delvis litt farlige delen av fanficdomen, der man rører ved selve serien, pirker borti det vi vet at skjedde - ikke bare det som skjedde som en fortsettelse, eller enda mindre farlig, i et annet univers. Tildels scener jeg vet mange har et forhold til og en mening om, ting jeg har vært med i heftige diskusjoner om og analyser av, tidslinjer vi ikke er enige om.
Jeg har valgt å kalle dette for "første gang", selv om ikke absolutt alt er aller første gang.
