is what Tamon tells himself. Not wanting to get lost in thought while staring at Zaki’s eyes again, making him look like some weirdo.
Don’t look at him.
It’s tempting. He wonders what Zaki is thinking about. Is he bummed out that he didn’t get to dance with that girl? He wonders what expression his face wears right now.
He looks.
What he didn’t expect was for Zaki to already look at him. His eyes widened, like he didn’t expect Tamon to look him straight in the eyes. He’s not sure what expression Zaki’s wearing. He looks lost in thought. The dim light makes him look peaceful. Eyes half lidded, like he’s about to fall asleep.
Tamon’s vision’s half blurred, but Zaki still looks as captivating as ever.

Summary
This was one of the sweetest things someone had ever casually done for him, which either means that Zaki is really sweet, or Tamon’s life is really sad. Even Zaki calling him a weirdo was swoon worthy. He unpaused it, eager to hear more of Zaki’s voice, but a little disappointed that he had to hear him struggle through explaining his poor notes.

Zaki does the nicest thing he's ever done, and tries to help Tamon catch up on school word while he's sick.
