    Clover's Journey has come to its end.

    For most of the Underground, this is a cause for celebration. After all, monsterkind is now only one soul away, and most can live knowing that they will likely be among those who will first step onto freer soil.
    A select few, however, see things differently. For them, that human's death provides only unanswerable questions, not peace of mind.

    How can they honor the memory of such a beautiful yet fleeting life?

    How do they go back to living normally after having their previous lives shattered? Is it even right to try and 'go back', or should the pieces be formed into something new?

    'Right' and 'wrong' have been revealed to them, but can those things still be found once the light of justice fades?

     

    Creating new light is not so easy. After all:
    Sparks cannot be captured
    The sun doesn't reach all corners
    Stars don't always shine brightly enough
    And not all flames can be contained

    But perhaps, as the sun gives way to stars and artificial light, so too can the many guide one another along each leg of the journey. They just need to find each other first.

    Monsterkind is finally free. Everyone is at the surface now. A happy ending is it not? To the little cowpoke’s surprise he is alive again! And it seems he was not the only one that was brought back to life.

    Clover may not know why he’s alive again but one thing for sure is that going on another adventure wouldn’t hurt him at all, it’s time for him to bring Justice once again. Meanwhile the darkness seems to grow darker, yet darker.

    After countless resets and endless repetition.. something has changed. The timeline has began shifting, changing its path for the first time in a long time. A new path Flowey hasn't seen before.

    Well, it might take Clover longer to reach Asgore but Flowey has all the time in the world after all. And seeing something new finally happen has piqued his curiosity. Drawn in by the unfamiliar, Flowey watches with morbid fascination as Clover is not able to give up his soul this time. Encounters shift, monsters react differently, and the world itself begins to remember things it was never meant to.

    Events shuffle. Characters act out of turn. Rooms appear where there were none. And for the first time in countless resets, Flowey doesn't know what comes next. Clover's fate is uncertain. Though Flowey knows he will get those human souls, no matter what.

    Clover had done everything he’d set out to do. He had found out what became of the Fallen Children, helped his new friends resolve their issues, or at least put them on the road to doing so, and now all that was left to do was to finish his journey…and face the destiny that awaited him at the end of the road he had chosen.

    But what if, instead of immediately hopping right to giving up his soul, he took the time to stop and weigh all his options? Along with the pros and cons of each? And in doing so, what if he realised there was still one more loose end to tie up? Perhaps even one more soul that needed saving?

    It's not like this one deviation from the script will change all that much, right?

    ….Right?
