“It’s not like it means anything,” she rationed to herself. “I respect Lance greatly, even more so now that he’s matured a bit. Of course I would feel this way towards hearing someone I respect say nice things about me.”
That’s how Allura managed to ignore the small ache in her heart, reasoning that as long as she stayed responsible and disciplined about towing the line, it would all be fine. Even when her heart tempted to betray her, all it would take was a bit of rationale and she would be back where she belonged - focusing on their mission and on the bigger picture.

“Goodnight!” he heard Seungmin say when he passed him on his way to his own bedroom.
“Night,” Minho said.
“Don’t stay up too late, Hyung,” Seungmin said.
“I won’t,” Minho said.
He felt a tension in the air, like he knew Seungmin wanted to say something else to him but chose not to. Seungmin was good at noticing things. But Minho was adamant to keep his issues to himself, especially in this situation. Or at the least, the details to himself, for as long as he possibly could.

Summary
Minho's used to silence. He's used to the way the villagers avoid his eyes when they visit him asking for help, the way they look at him with fear and distrust when they think he can't see. He's used to his world being the sprawling garden within the old ivy-covered iron fence and the familiar warmth of the cottage. He's used to it just being him, his cats, and the old journals.
It isn't until a villager somehow wanders into the garden despite the enchantments that he's faced with how unbearably isolated he's become, or how hard it is to open up to someone after years of being alone— or how freeing it is to know someone understands him.

“No,” Minho sighs, regretting what he's about to reveal before he’s even revealed it, but he knows it has to get to his little gaggle of gays sooner rather than later. “We’re just sleeping together.”
Felix nearly spits out his water. “What?!” he yells as best he can through his coughing fit. “And the world didn’t implode?”
“Like not just in the same bed?” Hyunjin chirps in, eyes wide. “Like dicks in ass and everything?” Minho just sighs again and looks up at the ceiling. Maybe he should have just kept this in forever.
“Well I guess we know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object,” Seungmin deadpans, sliding over on his wheelie chair before stopping perfectly in the center of the doorway. “They fuck.”
(OR: Minho and Jisung have slept with everyone except each other. Until that changes. No feelings attached, of course.)
