Loki’s being held back by Ravonna’s Minute Men. He tries to pull at their arms, but they just keep dragging him away. Loki’s weak after all the fighting and running. But he keeps his eyes on Mobius, who’s being dragged too, but this time towards a tempad portal to Norms knows where.
“I’ll find you!” Loki yells a promise.
“Loki-!” Mobius is thrown through and it shuts behind him.
Loki’s eyes don’t leave the spot, even as it goes out of view.
“I’ll find you,” he whispers to himself.

“What do you want to do?” Buck asks. It feels like a safe enough question—something neutral, not too leading.
Eddie’s brain does not, apparently, think so.
“Touch— myself,” Eddie blurts, before his entire face flushes. He presses a thumb into the corner of his eye, nostrils flaring as Buck stares, jaw hanging open.
For a long, horrible moment, neither of them says a word.
OR: fate forces Buck and Eddie’s hands when they get doused with truth serum.

As he grew older and knew himself better, he allowed himself to sometimes picture a man. Sometimes, before the truck bombing, he’d wished it would be Eddie himself.
But always, always, they wanted him.
The reality of the situation is a far cry from his daydreams: Buck, sitting on the cold tile, quietly weeping as he realizes that the person he’s been waiting for, the person he was made for, doesn’t want him after all.
