Summary
Decades ago, the villainous Robotnik used his mechanical robot army to take the country by force in a very bloody war. Now, as a punishment for all who fought against his control, each District in the Robotnik Empire must send a boy and a girl tribute to the Hunger Games, a yearly occuring pageant where children are forced to fight to the death.
Sonic the hedgehog is one of the most cocky and rebellious teenagers around— perhaps too much so for his own good. Constantly interfering with the peacekeepers that police the nation is certainly one way to find yourself the victim in a rigged reaping. Sonic is one of this year’s unlucky contestants in the Games, and he must compete for his life. Meeting different unexpected allies and enemies, learning about how the arena works and if it can be broken… Will Sonic the hedgehog survive?

Summary
It’s been years since the Chaotix closed a lid on that fateful case where Eggman had attempted to steal the chaos rings in order to power his greatest invention, transforming it into the dastardly Metal Sonic Kai. Though several of the groups’ members had disappeared after that battle, life had returned to relative peace.
Now however, Eggman is up to another evil plot. It has the Chaotix worried, since there may be a connection between Eggman’s current scheme and the events that took place back then. If Eggman is successful in turning his machines into weapons of mass destruction, it could spell out the end of the world.
Can the Chaotix put a stop to it?
And does Eggman’s plan have something to do with the disappearance of Mighty and Ray?
