A series of weird things that happen when you're Deaf/Hoh and wear hearing aids, and sign, and really can't hear for shit, but pretend you can for the sake of it. Really, just my excuse to complain about interacting with Hearing People and push my problems onto Bakugou.
Rated teen bc Bakugou swears, and probably should be more but I tend to censor myself when I write.

Aizawa watched Tokoyami remove his phone from his backpack and cut himself off to reprimand phone use during class when Dark Shadow emerged from his stomach, plucked the phone from Tokoyami’s hand, and settled on the floor just to the right of his desk in what looked to be its version of criss-cross apple sauce.
(Dark Shadow is sentient. Not sentient as in, can speak but is basically a puppet. Sentient as in, an entire person who just happens to be physically connected to someone. This is a collection of times 1-A slowly realized this, and came to accept Dark Shadow as a classmate. )

They weren’t playing truth or dare. They weren’t eating a meal. They weren’t doing anything productive. Hell, they hadn’t even spoken out loud in 10 or so minutes.
“I wonder if I can fit an entire orange in my mouth.”
Kirishima set down his controller and bolted to the kitchen, returning a moment later with an orange brandished towards his friend like baby Simba on pride rock.
“FOR SCIENCE!”

“Deku, you good man?” He questioned, turning his head from the electricity to check on his teammate.
“I really need to pee.” Denki sends a ludicrous look to his friend and sees the pained expression on his face, still a little out of breath from fighting. Sending one last bolt of electricity towards the villain, he jumps backwards and forms an English T with his hands, then takes a deep breath and screams as loud as he possibly can.
“TIME OUT!”

Summary
There were a lot more intricacies to being a guy than Pidge had expected. A LOT.
She had initially thought the change would be seamless, a choppy haircut and fake admission form and she'd slide into the Garrison like she was destined for it. She was always considered a nerd in middle school and fitting that stereotype as a boy was easy. Keep her nose buried in a book or laptop at all times, not that this was abnormal for her anyways, and swap the prescription in Matt's glasses so she could see (When did her brother's eyes get so bad?), and the role was complete.
She underestimated things a bit.

Aizawa has several carefully cultivated methods for dealing with this particular exasperation. Most of them center around Aizawa’s suddenly and miraculously developed second Quirk that allows him to lose his sight, hearing, and/or memory should these hormone eruptions occur in his immediate vicinity.

Summary
Riz had never been the outdoorsy type. He liked to stay in his little work spaces, staring at his boards and circling clues in his files. He liked to have his coffee maker right near by and the occasional snack. Four walls surrounding him was very much preferred; maybe with the occasional cracked window. He doesn't want to sound like a complete shut in, but he has to admit he likes a certain level of comfort. This forest absolutely did not provide any of that.
(Some Riz and the Bad Kids hurt/comfort. Riz gets hit by an intense fear spell that makes him go practically feral, and become afraid of his own friends.)
