Summary
Clarke asks Bellamy to marry her. And he agrees with a half-shrug and keeps his word, even when she realizes that they would have to be married for real, a ceremony and all, because the grounders really don’t respond well to being tricked. They even scrounge up a nice jacket for Bellamy for the day of. On their wedding day, Abby only frowns a little, Bellamy delivers his vows with convincing confidence, and Clarke doesn’t once mention Octavia. Even to tell Bellamy that she wished she was there.
Or, Bellamy and Clarke fuck their way into love.

“He’s still coming?”
“What do you mean if he’s still coming? He didn’t say anything otherwise.”
She shifts from foot to foot, feeling herself colour slightly even though there’s no one there to see her. “I just assumed that because you and Miller couldn’t make it up anymore he wouldn’t come today.”
“Why the hell did you think that?”
“Because Bellamy and I aren’t exactly friends, Raven."

Summary
Bellamy was always just far enough away from the crown that he didn't really think he'd have to rule Arcadia, but just close enough that it was still a possibility. It wasn't a comfortable position to be in, and he was more than happy to leave one royal court for another as a child. It's less pressure, being away.
He never expected enough bad luck to hit his royal cousins that he'd be called on to rule, even just as a regent, but here he is, twenty-one and going home. He's not particularly ready for it.

Summary
Bellamy’s already there by the time she makes her way to the centre of the room.
She didn’t get a good look at him before, so Clarke takes the time to look at him now. He’s not all that much taller than she is, but the breadth of his shoulders feels worrying, somewhat. His skin is marked with a array of calluses and scars, white against his tanned skin, and the deft, sure movements he makes confirms that he’s every inch the warrior he’s promised to be.
Swallowing, she steps forward, meeting his gaze. His face remains carefully blank, same as before, when Kane had told her that they’d be married.
In hindsight, marrying a total stranger may not have been one of Clarke's brightest ideas.
