Summary
Fourteen cities half as many days, and the shooting pain behind Charles’s eye is constant now. After a few initial successes in recruiting more mutants for their team, he and Erik are now getting the proverbial door slammed in their faces, over and over.
Charles does not enjoy travel. Too many new minds every day, too many emotions pressing in around him, smothering his own thoughts, and he feels like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dyke. If he abandons his post, the flood of psychic energy would come bursting through his skull, and he would drown. Or go mad.
Or both.

The montage of Charles & Erik recruiting mutants bringing 'couple searching for a third in their marriage' energy and honestly their whole dynamic in that movie lives eternally rent free in my head. In my mind this happens directly after Hugh jackman's amazing Cameo in first class.

Summary
What if, at the end of Season 3, it was Sam who was dragged away by hellhounds, and Dean who was left to flounder alone while Sam was in the pit?
What if Dean was on his own, hunting to distract from his grief, and Castiel's orders were to help him?
Basically--it's an opposite land/bizarro version of Season four. We're going to take a journey together folks, because I don't 100% know where this is going. I just imagine Cas and Dean alone together in that weird netherworld of time a la Sam and Ruby traveling together in actual canon season four (the flashback bits of the episode "I know what you did last summer").
What would the hosts of heaven have done if their Michael Sword had never gone to hell?

Summary
Venom briefly short circuits as he realizes that behind the locked door in his mind, Eddie has been hard at work trying to find a way for Venom to achieve a sexual climax.
It is only with the realization that all of this courtship behavior meant Eddie had perhaps found a way to achieve this, that Venom’s brain comes back online. Something sultry and hot churns to life inside Venom, heat spreading over him all at once like he’s stepped into a furnace.
***Or, Eddie was not okay being a selfish lover after last time!

Castiel was dead on his feet when they found him—and it took a long time for his sad blue eyes to shake that look. They’d hugged on sight, Dean and his Angel. The way Castiel clung to Dean, who gripped him back so fiercely it was almost an assault, then immediately tried to push him away…it stirred something in Benny. A mournful sorrow he’d never felt before. It took him a while to realize he was rooting for them, and this fearful thing between them that felt almost mythic.
