    Dr Ryland Grace has a problem. And he desperately wishes it was just the end of the world. Astrophage has numbers, objectives, and most importantly, solutions. Whatever's happening to him has none of that. His body doesn't care that the sun is getting dimmer, it cares that the world is closing in on him.

    Eva Stratt has rules, and zero time for personal problems. She has a planet to save. Making sure her scientists are fed, watered, and well rested falls neatly under those responsibilities. Unfortunately, Ryland Grace has never listened much to rules, and her practical solutions are starting to look an awful lot like caring.
