Stepping into the courtyard, feeling the soil beneath her feet. While artificial, the night sky was gorgeous. Illuminating a soft blue across the courtyard from the sky to the fake flowers and leaves.
Taking a deep breath. Finally having time to herself, Diana relaxes to the view of the night sky. Sure there was no wind, just slightly cold but a girl could dream. Until her ears pricked up. It was faint, but muffled sobs can be heard from the gazebo.
In an instant— she hurried to where the sound came from, ignoring her own worries. Taking a closer look, a head of blonde hair came into view. Grace? No, it wasn't the same hair length.
"D-Damon?"

Best character writing IM NGL. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT BOTH AVERY AND DEREK HAVE EXTREME CRIPPLING LONELINESS. I love Avery's obsession with Derek and its completely understandable this is the guy willing to sacrifice the world of it meant staying with Derek. This is the guy who said he owes his life to him. The way Derek is written is just chefs kiss for me. His curiosity getting the beter of him which is why he allows Avery's actions because its interesting to him. While also showing Derek's loneliness in his own life leading to this weird codependent relationship where neither one can pull away.
I love this fic series so much because it encapsulates their characters perfectly and giving this ship dynamic life. Because lets be fr they are both NOT normal under these circumstances.
PLEASEEE I NEED MORE MOVIE!!!

HOLY SHIT IS THIS FANFIC UNDERRATED AND WELLMADE. WHILE SIMPLE, IT PERFECTLY ENCAPSULATES THE ISOLATION AND LONELINESS OF THE END KF REVENGED HENRY'S LIFE HOW ABSOLUTELY NO ONE RESPECTS, REMEMBERS OR EVEN KNOWS HIM, NO ONE LOVED HIM.
THE LINES ABOVE GAME ME CHILLS AND SET THE TONE ON HOW HENRY WILL BE SEEN HE IS SO TRAGIC BECAUSE OF THE MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND THAT NO ONE KNOWS THE TRUTH OF HIS DEATH. DYING UNKNOWN, WITH NO LEGACY GIVES CHILLS.
