“Agott?” Coco’s hands were still on her face but her eyes stared directly at Agott. “What-” The Brimhat shifted her so she was slung over his shoulder. “Agott! Let me go! Please stop!”“I’ll find you, Coco! I won’t stop! I won’t ever stop!” At the last word, she aimed her pen like a javelin and threw it at the rapidly disappearing figure. Water droplets materialized around it forming a small icy spear. At that moment, the fatigue in Agott’s body send a jolt down her spine and her feet separated less than a centimeter but it was enough for the soarshoes to break and for her to be sent into another freefall.
This time was much like the first except for the fact that she no longer had her pen and no more glyphs or magic ink up her sleeves. Instead, as she fell, tears escaped her eyes. Something caught the edge of her vision, blurring with the evening lights and dusky sky as her vision slowly went dark.

Someone dropped a spoon.“Well, I’ll be! Is that Vash the Stampede?” A blond man bellowed, standing. He made a sound that was either a scream or a hearty laugh. “You’re infamous! The Humanoid Typhoon, the destroyer of Jenora Rock. The Devil that brings Disaster! Walking Fire! Worth sixty billion double dollars! ” He clapped Vash on the shoulder. “What an honor to be in your presence! You are a legend in our circles.” He gestured around him. “Recognize any of these jackasses?”
To his surprise, he found that he could. Their faces were often stuck right next to his on bounty bulletins.
He remembered their posters, every single person here was wanted for numerous crimes. Murder being the common factor among all of them. -

It was actually Hazel who had approached Annabeth with the idea.A cemetery, she had said, so our dead could be honored at last.

Even worse, Hera accidentally put him to sleep for an entire year instead of six months. It's December 2010, and without Percy's help in the war, Gaea and her giants claimed victory and drove the gods into hiding. With the Mist fallen and the world crawling with monsters, Percy must seek out the demigod survivors at Lupa's guidance as they prepare to make their final stand.
Or an AU, dystopian retelling of Heroes of Olympus with a lot of plot twists: the canon divergence is not what you think it is, and the original plot gets entirely upended.
