Summary
Nahida tells Cyno and Alhaitham that someone seems to be tampering with people's consciousness in Sumeru, and she can't place where the source is or how it's manifesting. She entrusts her two closest confidants - her General and her Grand Sage (Acting Grand Sage, Haitham reminds her) to get to the bottom of this before the ley lines end up damaged beyond repair. They both want to protest because they've both been having raunchy dreams of one another (even though they don't even talk much in real life or think much about each other outside work). But of course they can't say no to their Archon, especially when she's placing her trust in them like this. They must set out into the wild, delving deep into spaces they hadn't set foot into before.
