It's only after they get back to the house and are eating their shawarma in the kitchen that Alhaitham finally voices the question that has been following him all the way home.
“Are you ashamed of being seen with me?”
Kaveh drops his drink. It rolls off their dining table, shattering on the floor with a resounding crash.
“I- huh?!?”
“I asked,” Alhaitham repeats patiently, “if you are ashamed of us being seen together."
A short oneshot inspired by the secret Haikaveh interaction at the end of the first half 6.1 event quest! <3

He knew he looked utterly tantalizing in his current state: Cheeks flushed red and the gleam of saliva shimmering off his ready mouth. He was nearly starting to drool. His eyelids droop as he mutters in a low, pleading tone.
“Al Haitham~ do whatever you want.”
“Okay.”
Al Haitham kisses— no, pecks at Kaveh’s cheek before lying down beside him.
He goes to sleep.

Summary
Since the day Alhaitham helped Kaveh with his heat—the two of them forgetting to use birth control or any form of protection at all, then Kaveh missing his cycle. During that time, Kaveh's been behaving oddly, until Alhaitham starts connects the dots from his lover's changed scent to his appetite fluctuations and the slight "bloat" affecting his belly.
