Peter’s exhaustion levels had honestly never been higher. It wasn’t as much physical exhaustion as it was emotional.
Yeah… Peter was burnt out.
And as he realized that, he stood on top of a tall building in New York, pulling his mask off as he stared down at where he had just saved a young man from drunkenly walking into the street, where he had snatched back a stolen purse from a robber, and from where he found an incredibly dangerous escaped prisoner. He looked up and saw the sun just starting to rise. He sighed, realizing he had missed his window to sleep for the night, but he knew it was for the best. People were safe because of him.
