Summary
It's been five years since Basil took his own life and Sunny moved away without a word. Kel now lives in the city and attends college, but one day things take an unexpected turn when he sees, for the first time in a very long while, his childhood friend Sunny, now a visibly dejected 21-year-old working part-time at a diner.
Determined to prevent a repeat of the mistakes that led to Basil's death, Kel attempts to reconnect with Sunny on a complicated journey that stirs up long-forgotten memories and conflicting emotions. But things won't be as easy as Kel might hope.
—
AKA: 5 years after the end of the hikikomori route (Basil kills himself + Sunny moves away + the truth never comes out). Sunny and Kel reunite, and things happen! (sort of)

He just wished that he had tried harder sooner.
Or,
After years of suppressing his grief and inner turmoil, Kel tries to make it all stop for good. Hero won’t let that happen. He refuses to lose anyone else.
