Summary
The first thing Mike noticed when he woke up was the splitting headache he had.
It was one that ran bone deep, penetrating his skull in deep waves of hurt. He winced sitting up, his cranium feeling like jello as Mike laid a hand on his forehead. He noted that the skin was pretty hot but didn't think anything of it. Maybe it was just a side effect of his nightmares.

Or, Mike wakes up sick one day and Will is there to help him. Although, Mike starts having some... weird fever dreams.

He didn’t forget the firm, strong hand sweeping across his back, nor the thick bicep flexing against his shoulder with every movement, nor the gentle words murmured just for him. His pounding headache and the brightness of the light through the window reminded him of the chance that had slipped away last night, both created and destroyed by alcohol.

He’d be more upset if he didn’t taste so fucking good.
Or: Dabi goes too long without a drink. Hawks offers up himself and discovers how gentle Dabi can really be
