Mickey has a problem with going to bed at reasonable times.
Or eating three square meals a day.
Or drinking water.
Or basically anything that’s good and healthy for him.
Ian is tired of it. Tired of giving his sub so many chances to follow the rules. He’s had a month to adjust to being Ian’s sub, and so far there have been no concrete changes. He’s not entirely sure what they taught Mickey during his retraining, but it certainly wasn’t ‘how to take care of yourself properly.’ He knows Mickey’s been surrendered and put through retraining many times. He’s never found out why because Mickey rarely speaks to him, but he can’t help wondering if it was because of his sub’s inability to care for himself, even when he has rules in place to guide him.
“Mickey, come in the Red Room please,” he calls.
OR
Ian thinks his new sub Mickey is just being a tough guy. Mickey thinks his new Dom Ian is exactly like all of his previous Doms.
As it turns out, they’re both wrong.

Unfortunately for Reader, she is also dragged into the mess when Fury decides he ought to make her a member of the Avengers too. With powers too dangerous to be left unchecked, Reader quickly finds something she can relate to in Loki, and the two of them become unlikely friends and blossom into something more.
This does not follow canon whatsoever! It is simply a feel-good story in which Reader and Loki slowly fall in love.
