In which John incapacitates the shooter in CAM Tower before realising it's Mary, Sherlock lapses into a coma for several days, and Mycroft is playing a very dangerous game that will affect not only national security, but also the lives of the detective and his blogger in ways they yet fail to see.

“Not this again.” John’s voice shows exasperation. “We’ve been through this. I am not leaving just because you say so. If we are to repeat this whole thing again, can we please skip the parts where you’re slamming doors and disappearing for days and go straight to the part where we make out?”
And that is it, really. This is what had kept Sherlock from resorting to chemical solutions a few nights ago. This is proof that Sherlock might be as fucked up as you get, but John Watson isn’t far behind. And it isn’t that John doesn’t know what he is doing at this point. At this point, he knows enough to make any sane person leave without looking back. John, on the other hand, stays and makes black jokes about it.

In which love is not a solution, codependency might not always be the worst option and chaos is slightly similar to 'sense of belonging'. This is perhaps a love story, but it's also a story that attempts to illustrate psychological or psychiatric terms and theories. Most of all, it's a story about how two people attempt love when they are not quite prepared for it.
