Summary
Steve is tired of his mother nagging him about being single, especially on the holidays. After a particularly harsh Christmas he bumps into a handsome stranger named Eddie who is intrigued by the idea of having a platonic plus one for all the upcoming holidays. Through each holiday they develop an unexpected friendship as Eddie manage to break down Steve's carefully built walls. Somewhere along the way it becomes more for Steve, but there's no way Eddie could see him as more than a Holidate.

If you ask Eddie he would say it wasn't actually the most wonderful time of year. He hates Christmas. This is unfortunate because his boyfriend actually loves Christmas and seems hell bent on changing his mind.

Summary
After everything that happened during Spring Break, life for everyone in Hawkins returned to somewhat normal. Well, aside from Steve's new friendship with one Eddie Munson.
The gang decide they all deserve a break and head to Steve's family beach house for a week, featuring copious amounts of fluff, found family bonding, blurring (or completely ignoring) the line between platonic and romantic, and bullying being considered flirting.

Summary
Steve's situation came to him with startling clarity. Could he hook up with a guy? Who took the...girl role? What if they didn't agree, was it over before it began? He might cry out of sheer disappointment if that happened. What if Eddie asked for something he'd never done? A concern since Steve hadn't done any 'guy stuff'. God, he really was the worst gay ever! Bi, he reminded himself.
There was nothing for it, he'd have to tell Eddie he wasn't getting laid, Steve was a bust and he'd see himself out. All thoughts evaporated as he saw Eddie. It didn't feel so scary. Eddie stood brazenly with scars falling down his neck to his chest and over one arm, and if he could be so vulnerable, so could Steve.
Or...Robin and newly bisexual Steve try to navigate their first foray in to a gay bar and dating. They're hopeless. Eddie takes Steve home and leads him through his first experience. They bond over past injuries and Steve slowly learns to bare his body again, which had been hidden for too long. He's anxious and scared and self conscious, but he's sure of one thing, Eddie. This is a tale of awkward dating, even more awkward first times and the softness that comes with finding your person, two sides of the same coin.

Summary
“Hey newbie. Ever worked in a bar before?” the guy asks with an easy smile. Steve snaps his eyes up to meet his, and shit they’re pretty. The greeting would be charming from anyone else, perhaps even from the guy himself if he’d not overheard the exchange moments before, but Steve’s insides curl at the condescension.
“Yeah. For about five years. Thanks. And my name’s Steve,” he responds, voice clipped. He yanks at the ties of his apron, knotting the bow just a little tighter than is comfortable. He’ll have to adjust it later, but the man’s dark eyes are roaming over him like he’s something edible, and there’s no way Steve’s going to give any indication whatsoever that he’s prey.
“Nice to meet you, Steve. I’m Eddie.”
Steve can’t prevent the way his face scrunches in confusion, because surely not. There’s no way that this is the Eddie. Sure, he’s not exactly hard on the eyes, but from the little Steve’s experienced of him so far, he seems like a major ass. The way Bridget had hyped him up, anyone would think fucking Jon Bon Jovi worked here.
OR
when the upmarket cocktail bar Steve's working at goes out of business, he finds himself in desperate need of a job.

Summary
Divorced Steve was having a hard enough time trying to keep his head held high while Tommy insisted on parading his new younger wife Carol all over town. Tommy never prioritized their daughter Max and that was never more obvious than when he skipped out on a trip he paid for. While Eddie was finally able to achieve his dream, he couldn’t help but feel like something was missing.
A simple miscommunication about a trailer leads Eddie to the omega of his dreams when he literally crashes into Steve before they hit the stage. Will their 16 year age gap be too much for their whirlwind romance? Will real life rear its ugly head and ruin everything? Is this forever or will he just fall for the idea of you?
