Summary
After his rather open visit to town, Scott admittedly had gotten a bit too cocky. But he had a good reason to. He had left most of the townsfolk in utter confusion and disbelief by just humoring them with a little chat. How could he have guessed that little chat could indirectly cause his own doom.
Or; In the desperate search for the final cure book, one ingredient of the puzzle to lift the curse falls straight into the townsfolks' hands

Summary
“You must be freezing. Owen, drink, please.”
Drink. At that moment, such a devastating desire gripped Owen that he sat up and stared at Legs with desperation plain in his demeanour. “Turn me,” he said.
“What?”⋆˙⟡ ⋆.˚ ⊹₊⟡ ⋆
Legs has dragged Owen out from hell and run away from Oakhurst with him in tow. But Owen doesn't know how to live as a human, and Legs doesn't want to live as a vampire.
This was a short experiment to try and get the hang of these characters as well as practice my past tense, so it may be out of character - be warned.Bookmarked by Stormi_Jay

Summary
But then Scott stopped talking, and Pyro quickly followed suit. The nobleman’s nose scrunched up, his now pointier ears (seriously, how had nobody noticed that? He wasn’t crazy! They just refused to look!) twitched. All that Avid could hear was his own heartbeat. He wasn’t breathing, he wasn’t moving. He refused to let out a single sound. He wasn’t ready, not to go against two of them. Maybe if he’d just come across one of them by themselves, he could have… surely if it was Pyro. Scott he was far more afraid of.
“It sounds like we have company”. Following Scott’s words, everything moved in slow motion. The vampire’s head turned, their eyes locked together, and then Avid was running.
He didn’t know where he was going. There was nowhere for him to run. He was far away from town, outside of any proper path, and, most importantly, nobody believed him. Nobody had tried going after him. He had no allies left. Nobody would have known if he had died.
Avid was going to die.
