Summary
A shameless romp through Q's revenge on Kathryn after she rejects him in "The Q and the Grey" (but before the end, when he 'resolves' his progeny needs...)
Q is a vengeful god. And Kathryn won't accept his offer of procreation. So fine, she won't accept him? Who WILL she accept...? Q must find out with some "it's for science" scrutiny in true Cause & Effect (TNG)/Coda (VOY) style. How many times will Kathryn have to face off with a new romantic partner in her personal Groundhog Day 'hell' until Q figures out what really makes her want someone... and uses that against her... hilarity ensues. (How can it not?)
I'll include notes at the end of each chapter with that chapter's reference musical-theater title and songs quoted. Planning to publish every couple of days.

Summary
Captain Janeway and Commander Chakotay are a mere month into their time serving on Voyager together when the ship passes through an unexplained phenomenon that forces them into contact with an enigmatic and powerful being who offers protection in exchange for completion of a task that only Janeway can finish. But before she can complete the assignment, she is rigorously weighed by the powerful being, testing her relationship with herself and her new First Officer.

She didn’t want to admit how deeply she’d been affected by Kashyk’s previous sessions. Dabbing honest-to-goodness make-up over the dark circles under her eyes (due to her new fear of dermal regenerators), facing down meals where she couldn't eat, enduring rage-fueled Velocity matches with Holo-opponents who never let her win… and worst of all, laughing and smiling for Chakotay.
So that he would believe the ‘sessions’ in her Ready Room were mere bullying.
For all the things she couldn’t control about the universe, she could at least control this: Chakotay would believe with all his heart that she was untouched, unharmed, and still in command.
She willed it to be so.
She would make it so.

Bad news, the Gwyndala model I’m making broke again. I just can’t get her hair right. The braids are so pretty and my fingers are so big. She’s my only one left, though. I have Dal, and Jankom, and I still have Murf and Zero.

Oh, sorry. The computer just beeped at me to ask if I was done.
I guess I am.
Oh, except that. I’ve decided to mark a holiday at 100 days. I want to celebrate something and I think I can have my sixth semester completed. Or maybe I will just celebrate keeping the Protostar around. There’s this holiday that Brikarians celebrate called Concelebre. Families are together with lots of keening and chanting and rites. But there’s also presents and I’d like to make each of my friends a present.

Summary
Chakotay gets hijacked by Teero, and poor Janeway pays the price. Now they've got to pick up the pieces and figure out how to trust each other again. Janeway's in a world of hurt, physically and mentally, while Chakotay's drowning in guilt. An unflinching exploration of what it would take to *truly* heal from betrayal and find their way back to one another. If anyone can, it's these two.

Chapter Summary:
She heard them talking and discussing her injuries, joking about the bloody mess she’d made on the floor when the Maquis Captain had thrown her in.
Now that she had slept, the situation felt worse. Kathryn could clearly picture his hardened look, the betrayal of his thoughts behind the terribly villainous expression. But she could not allow this to dominate her ability to plan. She had to think of a way out.
