Shouto wasn’t expecting Bakugou to let out a loud laugh. Shouto jumps at the sound as Bakugou holds his stomach from the force of his giggles. “What the heck, halfie?” He says through laughs, “I didn’t mean actually. It was an insult.” He wipes his eyes and stands up straight as he recovers from his laughter. Shouto blushes, utterly embarrassed.
“Oh, I didn’t know that,” Shouto admits quietly.
Bakugou scrunches his nose, “You’re weird… and kinda stupid.”
Shouto blinks, slightly stunned.
“Be my friend.”Or

Shouto curled around her newborn baby as it sucked on her small breasts. She felt exhausted after giving birth, her limbs feeling like jello. Endeavor had been delighted when the doctor said the baby was completely healthy.
It was a boy, a healthy baby boy. A miracle. Despite knowing that the baby came from Endeavor, Shouto loved her new child. Endeavor had said the purpose of forcing her to get pregnant was for another successor, a backup. Shouto knew that meant the child would be brutally trained, like her.Protectiveness washed over Shouto as she wrapped her arms tighter around the baby's body.
Shouto smiled softly, hands running gently through the baby's soft, fuzzy hair. She would never let Endeavor lay a single hand on her child. Not ever.Even if it costs her life

Summary
Being a hero requires one to give up their own safety and do everything they can for the safety of the people around them and the general public. Shouto had been taught how to negotiate a hostage situation and had undergone many simulations during training. Yet, in their second year, while on patrol with Bakugou and Midoriya, a hostage situation ends with him killing someone. Shouto must deal with the blood on his hands and come to terms with what he did while being praised by the media, his classmates, and his teachers. It makes him wonder if being a hero really is worth it.
