"Shit! Emery?!" He called, dropping down next to her and putting pressure on the wound.
He came to the realization that he had to keep her alive until the crew outside found them. At least he had his go bag.

This meant the nurses were always finding new things to bet on to fill their time between patients, so they didn't get lost in their thoughts. Every year between October and December the bet is 'which of the newbies find out Walsh and Abbot are married first.'. This year Princess and Perlah had roped in most of the ED because princess was sure she would win and wanted a new car.
