They grew up together, the '3 Musketeers' their parents call them. They met all at the age of 7 at a sandbox in Swell view park. 9 years later they are thriving somewhat happy 16-year-olds, and over the 9 years relationships ended, feelings changed and friendships are broken.
Charlotte has been acting different lately, she's missing school and work, and she was more quiet than usual. Charlotte used to be open to Henry they would watch movies every Friday night and tell each other secrets and rumors around the school. Ever since she started dating Jasper things went south with Charlotte and Henry wanted to find out why.

As she hunts down her sister's killer her partner in crime has been around for a while now and he believes that they are in love with each other. 'Soulmates' is what he'd call their relationship. But Charlotte is defiant about this whole partnership thing, she's trying to stay away from relationships but her very attractive partner might change her mind....

I watched the third movie in the movie theater, and the entire time I was thinking. QUARITCH AND JAKE JUST NEED TO KISS AND MAKE UP SO HELP ME GOD. So yeah, this is roughly what I think would happen if they ‘kissed and made up’. I’m going to attempt to be as in character as possible.
