Summary
“You used to play your original songs a lot,” Xiao says softly, tracing the knuckles of his left hand. “Why don’t you do that anymore?”
Barbatos takes a moment to answer. “I guess I wasn’t sure anyone wanted to hear them.”
“I did,” Xiao says, surprising himself with how immediate his response is. “I liked them all.”
“Oh,” says Barbatos. After eight years of silently listening to the radio show that saved his life as a teenager, Xiao finally calls in after the host, Barbatos, disappears for a week. He expects that to be the only time he calls, but Barbatos seems to have other plans. One thing leads to another, and Xiao ends up calling the station each week – until a disastrous realisation at Barbatos’s first live performance.

Summary
Even at the alter, General Ren does not smile. His expressionless gaze is cast on their joined hands instead as if it offends him. He does not lift his gaze until they rise from a deep bow, deeper than Dan Heng has ever had to in his life and it is for a man who has slain thousands of his people.
His smile slips when their eyes meet, a clash of green and red so vivid the world comes to a standstill to this single point in time.
After six years on the battlefield, Dan Heng meets defeat in the face of his consort.
~
In the aftermath of a bloody war, the way to a lasting peace treaty comes in the form of marriage; generals of their respective armies would be offered as consorts for the heirs of their nations. In the name of peace, Dan Heng reluctantly accepts the show of goodwill but seeing an enemy as a friend is no easy task.
It quickly becomes clear that his own people would sooner seek vengeance for their losses than to accept this political power play, even at the cost of their prince's life.

Alhaitham is just trying to survive his final year of university while juggling his secret identity as Spider-Man without jeopardizing his academic standing or dying. Simple goals. Unfortunately, his biggest obstacle isn’t a supervillain—it’s his endearingly overdramatic roommate.
Who won’t stop asking Alhaitham why he keeps coming home bruised.
And won't stop yelling at Spider-Man to understand basic architectural integrity when slamming bad guys into buildings.

Summary
Sethos clears his throat. “Thing is. He’s uh, at mine, actually.”
A pause. Scaramouche’s heart skips a beat. He’s not sure he heard that right, so he doesn’t dare react immediately.
“Sorry?”
“Durin’s staying at my place,” Sethos repeats, this time firmer, “and I was wondering if you’d like to visit him?”There are a myriad of reasons why one might frequent a cat café.
