Inklings know that their world has a bit of a sordid past. That there were precursors, who ended up tearing themselves apart. That a lot of their everyday artifacts are based off the ruins of a long-dead civilization.
They don't usually angst about it, though. Humans are gone, after all. Anything they left behind is inert and only harmful to people who poke around with it.
For the most part they are unaware of how wrong they are. Even the few in the know have only the faintest glimmerings of what is in store.
