It was only a matter of time before Archangel and Nyreen Kandros crossed paths. They had a lot in common when it came right down to it, and on Omega where it's easy to feel alone and isolated, finding an ally is rare. And being sexy as hell sure doesn't hurt.
I always liked the idea of Garrus and Nyreen having a history on Omega. I also wanted to explore what that might look like if they had a friends with benefits thing going. Bold and italics are subharmonic communications. Warning: here there be smut.

Summary
Shepard and Garrus are enjoying their break on the Citadel, when Garrus' father and Shepard's mother meet by chance. When a shocking truth is revealed, will Shepard and Garrus be able to get past it?
“It… it was war,” Castis said softly, so softly Shepard almost couldn’t make out what he had said.
“What about the war?” Garrus asked.
Shepard had a cold feeling run down her spine, right through her limbs and the top of her head. Like she was going to be sick. “The First Contact War?” she said, just as softly.
Castis nodded ever so slightly.
“Tell me you’re not saying what I think you’re saying,” she pleaded.
Garrus’ head swiveled between the two of them. “What am I missing here?”
“Tell me. You’re not saying. What I think you’re saying,” she repeated again, slowly and deliberately, her voice raising in volume.
Castis opened his eyes slowly and looked into Sheaprd’s. “I… wish I could,” he said sadly.
Taking several steps backwards, she looked at Castis with pure disgust.

“I wanted to see you,” he says, voice thick. “Spirits, I missed you, I wasn’t sure if you still felt the same way about me and I wasn’t expecting…”
“I thought about you all the time,” she says. His subvocals rumble against her chest, and she tilts her head further as his hand winds through her hair with a gentle tug that draws a sharp gasp from her, warm to her core. Part it almost feels like grief dissipating.
Garrus tucks his face into the side of her neck, nose plate brushing along her pulse and his visor glows in her peripheral as he murmurs, “Yeah? You said that.”
A grin pulls at the corner of her mouth and she drags her nails along the delicate patches dotting the column of his throat only for his hips to twitch toward her and his grip tightens on her own. “I did. I thought about a lot of things though,” she brushes her lips along his mandible, letting everything else fade away just for the moment of Garrus wrapped around her, “you’ll have to be more specific.”

Enasal: joy in triumph over loss
Inquisitor Elera Lavellan finds herself at the end of the world. Again. Torn between duty, love and heartbreak, she stands tall once more in the face of adversity. Working with Varric’s chosen agent, Rook, against her former lover as she advises familiar friends and colleagues, including Commander Cullen, to defend Skyhold and the South in her absence, Elera does all she can to quiet the devouring storm within her.
The false gods she once worshipped threaten to destroy the world. The man she loves is trapped within the Fade, helping Rook as much as his own ends as he remains resolute in his goal to bring down the Veil. The whole of Thedas hangs in the balance once again. This time, Elera knows she may not come back from it. This time, she knows she may have to choose between her love and her duty.
What she does not know is that perhaps time has allowed her scars to heal more than she realizes. That perhaps her heart, that she believes gone with her vhenan, returned—only to be slowly given to another.

What if the Fade made the impossible... totally possible? Solas mpreg happens (because, well, Fade magic), and suddenly Thedas gets a whole new generation of heros. Mourn Watch Rook is actually Solavellan’s timetravel kid. But wait—it gets crazier. What if Hawke is also a Solavellan kid? And, oh, let’s throw in the Hero of Ferelden too, because why not?
This story fills in the blanks from post-Inquisition to post-Dragon Age TV. It follows Lavellan and Solas—two wounded souls—as they strive to rediscover their bond and love. Lavellan fights alongside Hawke, Rook, and the Hero of Ferelden as she searches for a way to save Solas. In the end, she finds redemption and happiness in the Fade —not just for Solas, but for the entire world. Oh, and let’s not forget the part where they purify the Black City, restoring it to the Golden City. Enjoy their new home and spicy time.

Though she had managed remarkable feats before when it came to the Fade, she could not have crossed the Veil with him and…somehow not arrived in the Fade. She must be in the Fade…but perhaps not in this prison. The prison rejected her. Of course. She didn’t belong there, and so she had entered the Fade elsewhere, beyond the prison…alone. His thoughts raced as he tried to sort through the implications of this realization. Let your freedom be my first act of redemption, vhenan.

She had walked across the Veil of her own volition, her hand on his back, ready to face whatever fate awaited them, together...only to find herself alone on the other side. For months she had embarked on a futile search for him. Or anyone else. Eventually, she arrived at the only conclusion left, as impossible as it seemed: through some cunning act of magic, he had somehow sent her through the Veil in his stead.
Takes place post-DA:V. Written as a series of vignettes covering the events of DA:I.
