It’d been stupid, and thoughtless, and embarrassing.
But Husk had looked at him like he didn’t think it’d been any of those things.
He’d looked at Angel, half-buried in his nest of blankets, knees propped up because Husk had been concerned about his back pain (and like hell if Angel could remember the last time anyone had given a shit about that, himself included) and in the softest tone Angel could ever remember him using, Husk had asked, “Are you a fuckin’ idiot?”

Summary
Blitzø, after a particularly rough night of heavy drinking, finds himself tied to a chair in some warehouse. Sure, he found himself in worse spots after such an intense night of drinks, but he hadn't had to deal with such bad company.
Striker.
Seems like the assassin is out for blood this time. No more games, no more messing around with IMP. He's got a job to do, and he's gonna do it. An occupational expense, he supposed.
IMP, with their boss missing, and little to go off of besides a short phone call, find themselves out of options. So, they opt to involve Prince Stolas.
Blitzø is narrowly snatched from the jaws of death, with his body battered, bruised, and bloody. He has to rest, mend his wounds.
All the while, Stolas is racked with guilt for not intervening sooner. The pair seem destined for failure. It's the last thing either of them want, even if they don't share that with the other.
Now, Blitz must not only heal his body, but mend his relationship.

Summary
What mattered most was that Blitz had Stolas in his life. Safe, taken care of, as happy as he could be. The Octavia thing was still an upsetting mess, one that could ruin the owl’s day if Blitz didn’t take care to steer wide around it, but they’d figure out a plan eventually.
Forget the what-if’s. Forget wanting dumb things he didn’t deserve. For now, he was living in the moment and feeling really good.
And that should have been his first clue that something Extremely Fucked Up was about to happen.

Six months after Stolas sacrificed everything, Blitz has resigned himself to letting the bird go off towards a new happily ever after (and never becoming more than friends again, despite his own tightly locked down feelings). But that plan goes completely off the rails when Stolas falls victim to a dangerous, never-ending curse and Blitz must untangle his own internal mess of self-worth, vulnerability, and love in order to save him.
