Summary
Ren Amamiya, sentenced to an entire year of probation, finds himself under the watch of Sae Niijima, a near-infamous prosecutor with a perfect conviction record. With the touch of a hand, Ren signs a contract with Arsene containing murky stipulations. Nothing in this life will come freely, and the power to change the world demands a price beyond measure.
With a partial merging of vanilla and royal, Ren, Sae, Akechi, Haru, Maruki, and even original characters will be heavily focused. With exception of some fundamental subtractions and changes. It is a full rewrite.

Hey there everyone! This is a NieR: Automata Fanwork that recontextualizes the entities of the game within a Fantasy Setting, one based off the various ideas I've spent years cultivating. On top of that, It's a Character Study. The 9S we see in-game is a person that is naturally good-hearted, but loss and grief drive him to become a violent person. This 9S is a person that has a naturally violent and hateful heart, but tries to overcome that and become a good person, despite the universe repeatedly throwing whatever it can at him to make him give in and just remain a hateful, spiteful husk of a person.
At it's Core, It's an Epic, Multi-Chapter story full of action, world-building, adventure, drama, and at it's roots...
It's a story about learning to love again.Series
