Mae was writing the perfect slow-burn BloodyMary fanfic. A mutated Taumoeba was affecting Grace and Simon’s pheromones, causing tension (among other things) to rise! The only problem? After a freak lightning strike, she has been transported into her own rough draft, and now her OTP is more interested in HER than each other! It’s a fanfic writer's worst nightmare. To survive, she has to dodge double entendres, tropes, and sexual advances left and right.

Summary
Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid when they encounter a strange terrestrial vessel that has somehow made its way to space. The single occupant is alive and Grace and Rocky rescue him, but they are then faced with the challenge of gaining this stranger's trust and dealing with the contamination he brought with him.

I published a post on Tumblr about Grace accidentally proposing marriage to Simon when he gives him a sprout, and this leads to Simon thinking that they are happyly married, while Grace thinks that having a human friend is awesome.
