“You’re hilarious,” it continued, laughing under its breath. It seemed to be closer to his ear, now, as Battat could viscerally feel the rumble of its voice. It almost felt like purring. “You’re more than happy to run yourself ragged, spend endless nights spinning in circles… You’ll even die, but you won’t turn around?”

His excellent lamp disguise was great, oh so great, but not upfront enough…he needed to get real physical and affectionate to the ex-monarchs, trick them into getting attached to him, then reveal himself once the time was right! They would be so impressed with his cunningness…they’ll be fighting over him like rabid animals…That was the plan, the hope for his newest disguise.

AKA Gerson adopts Susie and becomes the parental figure she always deserved. There are some small canon divergences and plot changes planned (i.e., the kids in Gerson's class are high schoolers instead of middle schoolers, making Kris, Susie, and others 16-18 years old), but nothing too crazy!
