There are just two problems: 1) the costume that he submitted to the contest turns out to be his…er…more personal design, instead of the contest-appropriate one he thought he sent in. And 2) Kacchan definitely remembers him from junior high. Can things get any more awkward? (The answer is, of course, yes.)

“Congratulations on getting nine out of ten questions correct! Without further ado, let’s move on to the last question..” Hanazawa paused for dramatic effect as the lights dimmed and the spotlights overhead honed in on their podiums.
“What is … your hero partner’s type?”
A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

In order to increase their popularity rankings as up and coming pro heroes, Izuku and Katsuki participate in the most popular late night talk show for hero duos - ‘Heroes Rising!’. Suguru has heard stories about him, of course - Gojo Satoru, the Strongest Sorcerer, killed Ryomen Sukuna and his host more than a decade ago. Notoriously reclusive. Sometimes he comes by Jujutsu Tech and then all the students and auxiliary managers flock to the courtyard to see him.
He towers over people, so tall and big that Suguru would have to strain to look at him. Thin scars on his face like slashes, but he's no less handsome because of them. White hair and the beginning of crow's feet around his startling blue eyes.
He thinks he's dreamed about Gojo Satoru before.

After Satoru kills Suguru during Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, and he gets reincarnated. They meet some years later.

“I’m Geto,” he says back. You were Suguru to me, Gojo thinks. “Nice to meet you, Satoru.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” He leans against the wall beside him, tries to look nonchalant as he does. “So, do you come here often?”
Geto thinks Gojo is just a lonely guy who wants friends. Gojo just wants to know if he remembers him, even just a little bit.
