Summary
Arya was only intending to pay her big sister a visit at her new job. You know, to make sure she was settling in alright since she made it clear she didn't exactly want the position but also didn't have much choice but to take it. Arya's intentions were just to see her sister, and then leave.
But if she just so happens to run into a beast of a man in the process?
Well, that's just her reward for being such a good sister, wasn't it?

Summary
Sandor never wanted anyone working for him. He never put up a help wanted sign, never put out any posts online, or left any flyers in the street saying he was hiring. And yet she just showed up one day and asked for a job, with nary a resume in sight. Said she’s seen him alone in here before and figured he needed the help. Which he didn’t. He was gonna tell her no, let her know he didn’t need any help, to forget ever working for him, or to just go the fuck away.
Instead he hired her. A trial run he called it.

The highway is locked up. Complete gridlock, and who knows when it'll clear. Based off the smoke in the distance? Not anytime soon. All the motorist on the I-45 are stuck, including Sandor Clegane. Fortunately for him, Arya Stark is also stuck in traffic. And she has a white board.

I've read a lot of stories where Sandor meets his significant other's family and it all goes swimmingly. The family is welcoming, Sandor is polite, and they all become one big happy family immediately.

It starts with cat food shortages. Lady’s favorite seafood delight remains absent from the shelves for months. Sansa tries every other brand but Lady chooses to go hungry, yowling night after night. Eventually, she caves and buys wet food. Sansa turns on the stove vent to air out the smell of wet salmon and turkey every morning.

Summary
A Stark and a Clegane, back to back against the rest of the world, fighting off the Many Faced God with only their wits, blades, and honor . . .
Arya returns to Winterfell a woman grown, but it no longer feels like home. The Hound arrives soon after with Jon Snow, and Arya finds that he understands her in ways her own family cannot. Bound to him through loyalty, honor, and blood debt, she decides to ride with the Hound to face the army of the dead.
They quickly return to the same comfortable rhythm, but the hardened warrior has found new purpose, and the belligerent child has become a woman of strength and experience. Arya is reminded that she was never safer than when his blade was at her back, and that makes Sandor Clegane the closest thing to home that she has known for a very long time. In spite of himself, Sandor begins to realize that Arya is no longer a child, and he sees her for the shrewd, cunning, fearless, and passionate woman she has become.
A dangerous mission to save the North and Riverlands from the dead threatens everything they have become to one another, and the Many Faced God is poised to seize one or both of them before Winter ends.
