Summary
Maiev is in hard mode denial. This story, like so many of mine, started as craving for more smut. The descriptions of Maiev’s psychology might be triggering to some, and they are probably not accurate concerning any real condition of repressed memories or amnesia. She’s somewhat obsessed in canon hence this approach. I love her to bits and want them to bang, so that's where we are going: towards a happier end ;)
The dub-con tag is for past events in their 10k years in the Barrow Deeps prison.

Inspired by a role reversal, where Hanzo is an up close fighter and McCree is a sniper - but that's not all that was changed. Overwatch chose to act quicker on the Shimada clan, saving two young heirs instead of a young boy with the desert in his eyes. But he survived. They're all just trying to survive.

“Shimada, Hanzo.”
The smile, if anything, widened and sharpened, giving him the distinct impression of being caught by some beast in a corner, whose intention was to play with his prey before striking a killing blow. And still, the words came in the same rolling, sweet tone, suave and sauntering with the next introduction. The hat was dipped by a pinched grip on the brim, and the lopsided smugness stretching the man’s lips did nothing to assuage Hanzo’s unease.
“Jesse McCree, at y’er service. How’s about we take this conversation somewhere a little more private?”

It was Hana who found him. Which made sense, really: MEKA had a small internal heating unit that melted the snow on her windshield, and she was the only one of them who could see farther than two feet in front of her.
The wind whipped icy snow into Hanzo's face. Beyond the anemic circles of their flashlights, the darkness was absolute. Even his sonic arrows didn't help much. His earpiece emitted only static.
"—here! Over here!" Hana yelled. Her voice cracked from the strain of shouting over the howling wind. "I've got him! Help!"
