When Lance contracts an alien virus while out on a diplomatic mission that starts attacking his Mer form, Lance figures it's just a "space cold". He brushes off the others' worry and tries to continue as normal. But the pain is getting worse with each passing day, and he hasn't had a moment's peace alone to change forms and see what could be causing it.
When everything finally hits the fan, the team quickly finds that Lance is in much worse condition than they had assumed. “Oi, oi, oi!” Eijiro Kirishima exclaimed. “I remember you two now. You guys were attacked by the sludge villain last year. You’re faces were on the news with All Might!”
“I knew they looked familiar!” Ochaco Uraraka chimed in.
“But that means, Midoriya you stopped a full force All Might attack dead in its tracks!” Eijiro visibly shivered with excitement before he began bouncing in his seat. “I can’t believe I’m in the same class as you two.”
“I, uh… yeah.” Izuku’s face turning beat red as everyone on the packed train shuttle now looking at him. “I was worried something was going to hurt Kaachan. He moved so fast and came out of no where, charging at them.” Izuku paused. “Kaachan could have handled it on his own though, once we removed the sludge from his body. He was just caught off guard.” Izuku said loudly, trying to shift the attention away from him.
A commotion started near the front of the shuttle as people began asking questions about the group of UA students, some taking out their phones to snap pictures of the heroes of tomorrow.
“Hair for brains. What did I fucking say.” Katsuki Bakugo spat.
