Summary
Megatron froze as he felt Optimus’s servo inside his chassis tug at the energon line and a fresh gush of the fuel escaped him as it tore further. Their optics met and held. Megatron’s had widened in shock for a moment before narrowing again in calculation. Optimus’s optics were round in shock and fear as his life was held in Megatron’s servo just as the other’s was held in his.
“Well,” Megatron’s voice was rougher than normal as this tableau continued, “we seem to be at an impasse, Autobot.”

Summary
The SKELD was only one week into its mission to POLUS. None of the crew had known each other beforehand. They’d just been selected from a list of professions, given their color code names, and sent out. Now Orange and Green are dead. White suspects they are dealing with more than one imposter based on her examination of the corpses. She doesn't realize that one of those imposters already has his eyes on her. His interest in her goes beyond his own mission. It's time to get rid of this distraction. But he can have some fun too.

It wasn't supposed to be this way. Certainly, it was close to what he'd originally wanted. But there was something just.... wrong, about the emptiness of it all. The pandemic had swept across the world in a matter of months, killing indiscriminately. He'd watched, plugged into every camera, every system, as the sickness spread, leaving only death in it's wake.
He'd thought North America barren of intelligent human life, until, six months after he'd disregarded the entire continent, one of his sentries, investigating some odd signals in a little town in Canada got run over by a woman joyriding around in a Lamborghini.
