Wind roaring so strong it almost cut his skin quickly flashed into his mind and Dan Heng, with his glowing horns and tail swishing from one side to another as he aimed his spear to his enemies.

The dim, golden lighting of the bathhouse blurs the sharp angles of his silhouette, casting an eerie glow around him; if not for the fact that Mydei can still hear the faint staccato of his breaths, it’s almost as if he isn’t there at all.

In an effort to stop feeling anxious about his relationship with Alhaitham, Kaveh decides to build confidence through a simple attempt at seduction—but forgets one hairy little detail that could massively derail his plans.
For as long as Kaveh has lived with him, Alhaitham has always been incredibly good at managing his condition and its triggers. He’s already prone to a cold and rational demeanor, and he takes pains to live a simple life that contains few stressors.

When Kaveh announces that he’ll need to temporarily stop taking suppressants, Alhaitham assumes that he must be an omega. After all, that’s the only logical reason that Kaveh would have pretended to be a beta for all this time. It’s the only logical reason that Kaveh would ask Alhaitham, an alpha, to leave the house for two weeks.
Except Alhaitham has made a rare miscalculation—and helping Kaveh will be much more difficult than Alhaitham expected, when his own instincts keep pulling him in two different directions.

“Are… are you sure about this…?” Nerves tinged the edges of Kaveh’s voice at the question, bringing it to a near whisper, though high-pitched and slightly needy. It had Alhaitham tilting his head in curiosity, the corner of his lip twitching up in a teasing smirk.
Kaveh bit his lip, clearly anxious, and added, “We’ve… you- you know, we’ve never tried this yet, after all… I just…”
As much as he wanted to tease the man, he went quiet for a moment, taking stock of the situation lying pliant on the bed beneath him.

Summary
When Kaveh discovers that Alhaitham has been reading a book about human sexuality and kinks, he generously offers to assist Alhaitham with some sexual exploration. It’s a risky proposal, and one that could end very badly—thanks to their falling-out years ago, the two of them have trust issues galore.

“Look,” Kaveh says, “if you’re going to approach sexual pleasure like an experiment, most potential partners won’t take too kindly to the idea of you having sex with them for science. “How charitable of you,” Alhaitham says.
