Summary
The universe meant for the fallen and humanity to be perfect compliments: one was to warn the brash of a possible fate and the other to remind the downtrodden of a hopeful past. Instead, they have each made enemies of the other. Valthyx, an Eliksni ex-captain become chronicler, and Ysolde, an ambitious, curious lightbearer, are the universe's final loving attempt to let the two races know and fulfil their purposes.
