This summer had been hard on Mike Wheeler.

Apart from the cloying heat that seemed to permeate his lungs and stick to every inch of his skin, he had suddenly begun to notice things about his best friend that he wasn't sure were normal.
In fact he knew they weren't.

In the heat of summer break, Mike accidentally brings Will to the drive-in theater a day earlier than originally planned, forcing the both of them to spend one-on-one time together.

"So," Mike said, voice rougher now, almost careful, "you think you're bigger?"
The words hung there, half-joke, half-challenge, drawn from the same nervous energy that made Mike open up moments earlier.
Will's pulse hammered in his ears. He met Mike's eyes, and really looked at him, he saw the same mix of curiosity and embarrassment staring back.
"I bet I am," Will said softly, the words slipping out before he could take them back.
Or: Mike Wheeler has a massive dick, Will becomes obsessed with it.
