“And I’m telling you, just like I told you the last five times, that your proposal is dismissed. We aren’t going to vote on this, Ares, and I highly recommend you drop the subject”, Zeus said. Ares rolled his eyes, but at least he didn’t try and make his point for the sixth time.
“Any other motions?”, Zeus then asked with a sigh. When Demeter raised her hand, Zeus added: “No motions about increasing cereal consumption.” Demeter lowered her hand disappointedly.

Why had Zeus done this to him? Why couldn’t he just have left Ares alone and given him the opportunity to go down to Tartarus and kick Kronos’ sorry butt? (Ares did not think about the giants that dwelled below in the Pit, and he certainly did not think about the Aloadae. If his breathing quickened and his heart started racing, then that was purely a coincidence.)
No, Ares wasn’t scared. He would have totally gone down into the Pit and given Kronos the payback he deserved, if it weren’t for Zeus. Totally.

After the events of The Lightning Thief, Zeus forces Ares to become the Co-Camp Director of Camp Halfblood, together with Dionysus.
Over time, while working hard to prepare Camp Halfblood for war, Ares starts to realize that maybe being here isn't so bad after all.

The Narrator was nothing more than a bunch of voice lines stringed together, cleverly programmed in to make it seem like he was a real person.

Ron always hoped he would be sorted into Gryffindor, just like his brothers. But after seeing his so far only friend Harry get sorted into Slytherin, he starts doubting it a little. So, when the hat tells him he can thrive in Slytherin, that he was not just going to be another Weasley if he goes to Slytherin, Ron accepts.
This is a long-fic spanning from first to seventh year, from Ron Weasley's perspective. It's a Harry/Ron slow-burn, and when I say slow-burn, I really mean it. It's going to be slooow.

During Capture the Flag, I did exactly what I told my children I would do. I watched the game and cheered them on. I did not get involved. If every single arrow shot by the other team happened to conveniently miss my children, then that's a complete coincidence.
Apollo promised to be a better father during the Trials of Apollo.
This story is Apollo fulfilling that promise.

Oh Apollo, you must be thinking. I thought you completed your trials, that you had been restored to your divine Olympian throne. Surely that is the end to your many tales of woe?
So did I, dear reader, so did I.
But as it turns out, there’s always room for a subpar sequel series. And for me to slowly work my way into becoming a full time author. How many more books is my literary agent going to squeeze out of me?
As many as it is seen fit to turn me mortal, I suppose.
